O Level Islamic Studies Hadith 11 (Doubt)

On the authority of Abu Hamzah Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) - the servant of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) - that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said :

• None of you will believe until you love yourself."

• None of you will believe until you performed a good deeds with your brothers."

• "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself."

• "None of you will believe until you love yourself the way you love you lover."

In Sahih Muslim from Abdullah ibn Amr Al-A’ss, the Prophet (s.a.w) said:”Whoever wishes to be delivered from the fire and enter the garden should die with faith in Allah and the Last Day and should___________________”. (Sahih Muslim)

• remove the flaws in someone and having a positive mindset on them

• stop being jealous in any matters

• love yourself the way you love your brothers

• treat the people as he wishes to treated by them

What is the meaning of "Golden Rule" ?

• “do as to others what you want to yourself”

• “protect our dignity by covering our flaws”

• "treat people equally according to their gender"

• "“do as whatever you want to do”

why we need to avoid from finding and seeking flaws of someone?

• because it is mentioned by the prophet in hadith

• because they might also are going to find ours

• because we might use their flaws to exploit them

• because finding flaws is the main reason of the divorces cases among partners

Below are the conclusion from the hadith except

• Mercy and compassion should be exist in our treatment of others

• It is very important to not to be arrogant, Thus, we need to be humble and show mercy to others

• Do as to others what you want to yourself

• Jealousy will burn all the good deeds

• We are allowed to be jealousy if we are wishing something bad to be happened on someone we got jealous with
