My name is Jane. I’m living in Fruit City. My city is very noisy and crowded. I’m a student at Durian Primary School. It’s between the Avocado Library and the Lemon Stadium. After school, all of the girls in my class like to go to the Avocado Library, while the boys always play football in the Lemon Stadium. At the weekend, my family usually go shopping at the Strawberry Supermarket on the Mango Street and then have a drink at the café opposite the Lemon Stadium. Its name is Apricot Café. I love their rose tea and ice-cream very much.

Last Friday was my birthday. I had a small birthday party at the Cherry Restaurant. It’s at the end of the Pineapple Street, opposite the Blackberry Museum. After the party, my friends and I went to the Peach Cinema to enjoy the latest movie, Ice Age. In the evening, we took a bus to go home. The bus stop is on the corner of the street, next to the Peach Cinema.

Tomorrow is Sunday. I’m going to the Plum Market with my mom to buy some fruit and vegetables. It’s next to the Grape Pharmacy and opposite the Coconut Hospital . Then, we are going to the Orange Post Office, which is opposite the Peach Cinema, to send the fruit, the vegetables and a letter to my grandmother. She lives far away from us. We can take a boat to visit her, but my mother is very busy. I hope my grandmother will like the fruit and the vegetables.
