Gilgamesh Book 6

After Gilgamesh returned home from defeating Humbaba, he

• washed himself and changed into his finest clothes

• had a great feast to celebrate his victory over Humbaba

• slept for 7 days and 7 nights

• went to the temple to pray to Shamash
