Homemade Lava Lamp
You can make your own lava lamp with simple materials you probably have at home.
Materials: Vegetable oil, water, clear bottle, food coloring, 4 Alka seltzer tablets
Steps:
Fill the bottle ⅓ of the way full with water.
Add five drops of food coloring.
Fill the bottle with vegetable oil all the way to the top. (leave a little bit of space)
Break one Alka seltzer tablet into 4 to 5 pieces.
Place those pieces one by one into the lava lamps. It will begin bubbling.
When the bubbling stops, add another piece. (Repeat until all pieces are used)
After that, screw the top onto the bottle.
Slowly tilt the bottle from side to side.
