• The Taliban started to rule in Pakistan.

2. What did they think every time they felt a tremor (the smaller earthquakes that come after)?

• They thought it was the Day of Judgement.

• They thought they were still dizzy from the first one.

• They thought they would not be afraid, because they had faith.

• They thought they should be praying harder in order to stop them.

3. What did Malala think when there was a great disaster or our lives are in danger what did they as Muslims usually remember?

• They thought how important it is the family and how hard it is to work for your material things like a house.

• They thought about how could they have more faith.

• They thought in their sins and wonder if they would meet God and whether if they would be forgiven.

• They were wondering if it was fair.

4. What did Malala's father do in order to help the people from the affected areas?

• He went to another countries to ask for help an collected money.

• He asked Malala and her mother to start baking cakes in order to sell them for collectong money.

• He decided to go to the Musk (the Muslim temple) because he wanted to pray for the affected people.

• He raised money from schools and the Swat Association of Private Schools and the Global Peace Council.

After the earthquake, many children were left orphaned. Where did Malala's father heard they were taken to?

• They were taken by some foreigners in order to be adopted and taken to their countries.

• They were left on the street.

• They were taken in by the JuD to different orphanages with schools so that they could continue studying.

• They were taken in by the JuD to in their madrasas. Where they learn the Quran (Muslim book) by heart.
