• I must have gone completely white because my friend knew something was wrong right away. Desperate to get some explanation, I asked her if it was her humming a tune in the restroom. She said no, it wasn’t her. She said I might have heard the sound from a radio nearby

• At around ten my friend said she needed to go to the restroom. Minutes later I also went to the restroom. I went straight to the vacant cubicle. My friend must have been in the other cubicle because there were only two cubicles. Then I heard a woman’s voice – which was definitely not my friend’s - humming a tune outside my cubicle.

• We both knew it couldn’t have been the sound of a radio because nobody else was in the office. From then on we agreed to always accompany each other whenever we went to the restroom.
