OPEN ENDED QUESTION
3 mins • 1 pt
Read this passage. Write a response stating what the author's purpose is. Justify your answer by citing text evidence.
I believe that every student from preschool to high school should wear school uniforms. School uniforms promote equality within the classroom. They can help students to be noticed for their achievements and character rather than their appearance. This can make for a valuable learning environment.
When you wake up in the morning, you don't have to waste valuable brain cells deciding what pants to put on or what shoes to wear. Simply pick up your uniform, and you're ready to learn! Everyone should be fortunate enough to have a school that prioritizes learning. Schools can best do this by requiring uniforms.
