The Virtues Found in Sawm

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟

• Allah want to give command for us

• Allah want to give bounties for us

• Allah want to give hardship to us

• Allah want to enlighten our burden

لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ

This phrase shows the purpose of Sawm.

What is the purpose of Sawm

• To gain peace

• To get hungry

• To gain Taqwa

• To get spouse

What is Taqwa?

• God-blessings

• God-consciousness

• God-attention

• God-mercy

Sawm teach us to control our desire and it can relate to

• Tawaduk

• Khusyu'

• Sleep

• Sabr

"Sawm shows the importance of gratitude"

What is the meaning of this sentence?

• train our nafs to restrain itself form its desires
