Spreadsheet/Worksheet

• a table of data arranged in rows and columns

• data that goes through storage and comes out

Row

• When a cell is selected

• A horizontal line of data across a spreadsheet identified by a number

Cell

• The space in a spreadsheet occupied by one value or formula identified by its column letter and row

• The location of cell

Cell Address

• A series of single cell or ranged cells

• The location of a cell. Also called cell reference

Active Cell

• When a cell is selected

• numbers of sets or ranged sets

Sheet Tab

• The little tab at the bottom of a worksheet that tells which worksheet you are on in a workbook. Excel normally opens a workbook with three worksheet available.

• A vertical line of data sets that can only be used when typing

Workbook

• This is a collection of one or more worksheets. It is the excel version of a document

• Can set to be a single line of vertical sets

Cell format

• Can be set for a single cell or range of cells at one time

• can be adjected by using the column

Column Width

• numbers used in a worksheet

• Can be adjusted by using the column width dialog box

Range

• A series of cell in consecutive order

• when a cell is selected
