WAYS OF PARTICIPATION

a) There will be a music concert in your neighbourhood and some neighbours are starting to complain. You decide to:

• Offer the elderly people in the neighbourhood the possibility of staying at a nice hotel for

  the weekend.

• Meet the representatives of the concert organisers and the neighbours and try to arrive at

  a consensus about the timetable.

• Get up a petition (collect signatures) in support of maintaining the concert and take it to the Town Hall.

b) You want to organise a trip for the koadrila but you have problems agreeing about where to go. You have decided to:

• Vote on the different places, and go to the place with the most votes.

• Make sure all the members give their opinions and choose the one that most people

  want.

• Go where the leader of the koadrila says because he/she knows what is the best for you.

• Organise a course to work on group dynamics.

You want to have a ‘bidegorri’ (bicycle lane) from the different suburbs of the town to the school

so that you can go to school by bike safely.

There are many dogs in the streets without owners, because some people abandon them when

they get too big for their flats.

There is no news about the women’s football championships in the regional newspaper.
