  topoisomerase -4

• breaking cell wall synthesis

• breaking protein synthesis

There are no bacterial resistance for Alcipro.

• complete blockage of DNA gyrase has no possibility of plasmid mediated resistance.

• fastest bactericidal action does not allow resistance to occur thus even chromosomally mediated resistance is unlikely (chances being 1 in billion).

• synthetic compound, is not susceptible to degradation by any known bacterial enzyme e.g. beta-lactamases
