What is paraphrasing?

• Restating the question

• Listing information that that the author uses in a different order

• Restating more specific points in a way that’s closer to how the author wrote it, and giving the author credit.

• Using information without citing the source

Why is it important to cite all of your sources?

• You want to take all of the credit.

• You want to give credit to everyone that deserves it.

• You shouldn't cite any sources.
