The language focus can be on vocabulary, grammar, and functions (also, spelling and pronunciation).

Freer practices aim is:

• The activity gives students more choice about the language they can use to complete the activity and express themselves.

• Repetition of the target language is important.

• has communicative purpose.

• Using the language more accurately is the aim.

Conversation tasks used in the classroom where the focus is on allowing the learners  to communicate their ideas with all and any of the language at their disposal.

Fluency activity is not...
