Why did the crowd bring the women to Jesus?

• She was caught in the act of adultery

• She was a thief

• She needed to be healed

• She was known to be dishonest

What did Jesus mean by "let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone"?

• The crowd should begin the stoning ritual

• We should never hold anyone accountable for their actions

• we should use every possible opportunity to forgive and to reach out with the gospel and the love of Christ, always remembering that we, too, are sinners in need of the Savior

• Jesus, because he is without sin, should throw the stones

What did Jesus tell the women

• You are loved and your behaviour doesn't matter to me

• Some sins are worse than other and cannot be forgiven, however, this is not one of those

• If others do not think what you are doing is a sin neither will I

• You are forgiven. Change your behaviour

• Christians are safe from participating in all sin because Jesus' light stops their behaviour

• Everyone needs a form of light to walk in the dark

• Jesus is the sun and sustains life on earth

• Jesus is the giver of life and bearer of light and whoever believes in Him receives eternal life. Life without Christ is darkness and death

What did Jesus claim about eternal life?
