Simple Present and Present Continuous

We use the simple Present for:

• Actions that took place some time ago

• Repeated actions

• Actions taking place in the near future

• None of the answers are correct

We don't use the simple present ...

• For things that are always / generally true

• To say that we are in the process of doing a longer

  action which is in progress

• To talk about things we do every day

• Answer one and two are correct

A correct negative sentence in simple present is the following:

• I do not don't wake up at 5 AM.

• I does not wake up at 5 AM.

• I do not wake up at 5 AM.

• I don't weik up at 5 AM.

Use the following pattern to create a sentence:

times /simple present/ we / play / and / soccer / week / two / tennis

In the simple present, for verbs that end in a vowel + Y, we just add _____

In the simple present, for verbs that end in ___________ or -Z we add -ES

In the simple present, for verbs that end in a consonant + Y, we remove the Y and add ____

In the simple present, add ____ to all the other verbs

To form the present continuous tense we use the base form of the verb ____ and the present participle of the verb in -ing.
