Filipino Citizenship

The following circumstances qualify as a Filipino Citizen,

except one

• Those whose mothers or fathers are Filipino

• Those whose mother or fathers are citizens of the Philippines

• Those who are naturalized in accordance with law

• Those who were born after January 17, 1973 of Filipino mothers

Two ways to acquire Philippine Citizenship
