2 Kings 15&16

Meditation verse for the book of second Kings chapter 15&16:

In chapter 15 we learn about Uziah (Azariah), king of Judah, and his son Jotham and Zechariah, king of Israel, until the reign of Pekah. 

In Chapter 16 we learn about Ahaz the king of Judah the son of Jotham who became a bad example and failure in all his life. 

In chapter 16 verse 7 we see that Ahaz asked help from the king of Assyria instead of asking God’s help. And he took the silver and gold from God’s house to pay him for his help. We should always relay on God who is our refuge and strength.  

“It is better to trust in the______ than to put confidence in ________” (Psalm 118:8).
