What I've been doing lately

This morning is the first for a while I ____________ (be able) to write my blog.

The last few weeks ____________ (be) very busy.

I ____________ (work) hard on a new painting. When it's finished, it's going to be part of an exhibition at Newport Gallery.

I __________________ (never/ exhibit) there before, but it's a lovely space.

Jon _____________ (start) his new job.

He seems to be enjoying it and he ________________(make) a lot of new friends.

And we _________ (look) at houses.

We ______________ (stay) with my parents while we try to find the perfect place. It isn't that easy.

I _________ (see) one that I liked but Jon wasn't very keen.
