I woke up in the middle of the night because the thunder was so loud and then there were these incredible flashes of lighting. it was quite scary.

we were driving along the motorway and suddenly we just hit it. it was really thick and you could hardly see the car in front. we had to come the motorway and wait for it to lift.

it was boiling and really humid and there was no air conditioning on the bus. It was unbearable. I thought I was going to pass out.

I lost all feeling in my finger and my lips turned blue. I thought I was going to freeze to death!

I got absolutely soaked on the way. When we left it was fine, but then the clouds came in and it suddenly started pouring down, and of course I hadn't brought and umbrella or anything.

It blew down a tree then it hit my house. It did quite a lot of damage.

It was pouring down and then it turned to hail. It was incredible. In the end, we had to pull over until it all eased off.

The ferry couldn't sail because it was so strong, but it eased off after a couple of hours.

Honestly, we had to slow right down because it started to settle and I was afraid of skidding. Apparently, there were lots of crashes and some people got stuck in their cars overnight.

It continued non-stop for about a week! the whole place was flooded. It was miserable.
