Our story is a myth. What is a myth?

• A myth is a true story.

• A myth is an old story that tells about how something came to be. It is fiction.

• A myth has a character with a problem that needs to be solved.

What does the little boy find floating by?

• A feather

• A coin

• A seed

• He doesn't find anything

What does the little boy do with the seeds that he finds?

• He lets them go into the wind.

• He plants the seeds on the mountaintop.

• He forgets about them.

• He sells them.

What grows from the golden flower?

• A large pumpkin.

• Strawberries.

• Nothing. Only the large flower grows.

When the villagers listen to the pumpkin, they hear a 'murmuring' sound coming from inside. What does murmuring mean?

• A loud sound.

• A clear sound. They knew exactly what was inside.

• A low sound that they could not quite make out

• It means there was no sound.

Why do the two men want the pumpkin?

• They think that once they have it they will become powerful.

• They want to sell it.

• They want to take it home to make pumpkin pie.

• They want to plant more pumpkins.

The two men end up fighting over the pumpkin and it gets away from them and breaks on a sharp rock. What is inside?

• Seeds. Lots and lots of seeds.

• Nothing. It was hollow inside.

• Water and sea life.

• Candy.

What happens to the home of the villagers once the water comes rushing out of the pumpkin?

• Not much changes.

• Water fills to where the plants start and creates and island.

• Their homes all get flooded and wet.

• The water spreads out and creates a small lake.

What do the villagers gain from all of this water?

• They don't gain anything.

• They gain fresh water to drink from, water to use for their crops, and fish to eat.
