• Introduction with hook and thesis, 1-3 body paragraphs that support the thesis, a concluding paragraph. Each paragraph needs simple, complex, and compound sentences with transition words and correct punctuation.

• Introduction, body paragraphs, conclusion with transition words.

• Introduction with thesis, 1 body paragraph that has transition words, a concluding paragraph, all sentences contain punctuation marks. Slang is added for creativity

• 3-5 paragraphs, transition words; punctuation, and no slang

What should you do if you discover you went off topic during the editing section of the essay?

• Delete the off topic portion.

• Never delete the section, but maybe separate it using parenthesis.

• Add the information in your thesis, even if it doesn't match

• Ignore it, the off topic section doesn't matter
