Meditation verse for chapters 7 &8 of the book of first Samuel :

In Chapter7 we learned about the repentance of the children of Israel, and how Samuel the prophet prayed for them. God accepted their repentance and helped them to overcome their enemies the Philistines.

In chapter 8 the children of Israel asked Samuel to make a king for them, all those years the Lord ruled over them and He was their king, but they rejected Him.

In chapter 8 verse 6 Samuel was sad when the children of Israel asked for a king. So, he prayed to the Lord and God comforted him. When we face any problem in our lives, we should come to the Lord and tell Him about all our troubles, with faith that He knows about it and He will take care of it, because He is our Heavenly Father and best friend.

When we have any problem, we should talk about it to God in prayer.
