Jenny smirked as she pushed her mother’s new vase off the table. She laughed as she watched the glass shatter into a million pieces. She played with the water and flowers that spilled onto the floor. Her mother came into the room and yelled, “Jenny, what happened!” Jenny didn’t answer her mom and giggled to herself and skipped into her bedroom.

Matt would do whatever he could to get an A in math class. He studied his math facts every single night, and he even asked his teacher for extra help after school. Matt also completed extra practice questions every night to make sure he really understood each lesson. Nothing was going to stop Matt from earning an A in math class!
