How can we respectfully handle scissors?

• Sit while cutting

• Pass scissors handle-first

• Hold the blade down while walking

• Walk slowly while holding scissors

How can you respectfully use something that isn't yours?

• Just take someone's stuff

• Ask, "Could I please use this?"

• Don't ask to use someone's things

• Make sure the person doesn't know you're using their stuff

How can you respectfully play with toys?

• Play with one thing at a time and put things back where you found them

• Turn the pages carefully so they don't rip

• Use clean hands, so the pages stay clean
