Volcanic Hazards

These are high concentration density currents essentially non-turbulent and confined to valleys.

The 2nd largest eruption of the 20th century was recorded in one of the Philippines’ most active volcanoes. (Indicate the name of the volcano and year of eruption)

It can be either silicic or basaltic in nature, which rarely threatens human life as it moves slowly.

It is a mixture of water and volcanic particles of all sizes which can become saturated by water and move downslope.
