According to the General Law for the Ecological Equilibrium and Environmental Protection (1988), pollution is:

• All elements that pollute

• What man throws away

• The presence of one or more pollutants in the environment or any combination of them that causes an ecologic unbalance.

• Pollution generated by man and nature

Pollutants are classified according to their origins as:

• Biological

• Natural and Artificial

• Smoog

• Chemical

Artificial pollutants are divided into three types:

• Organic, Biotic and Chemical

• Biological, Physical, Natural

• Physical, Biological and Chemical

• Natural, Artificial and Inorganic

Regardless of having an immune system that help us to fight against certain pollutant.

What happens when you eat contaminated food for long periods?

• Causing deformity in humans or even death.

• Death

• Food poisoning

• Stomach ache

These pollution come from the decomposition of organic matter accumulated by long periods of time that was trapped once between the deep layers of Earth.

• Petroleum, natural gas, mineral coal and secondary products

Carrying out this activity leads to the use of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, etc. that pollute the air, soil and water, generating greenhouse gases.
