How are files organized?

• Save files using suitable names and place into folders

• Save all work in My Documents folder

• Save all work in the downloads folder

What is a filename?

• The identity of a file (what the file is about)

• The size of the file

• The title on the first page of a document

• The type of file (.docx)

What is a sub-folder?

• A folder inside another folder

• A folder belonging to someone else

• A folder I have changed the name of

• A folder owned by somebody else

Why should names reflect the content of files?

• So that it doesn't get confused with others.

• So you don't delete it by accident.

• To make your files easy to locate and retrieve (find)

• So that you can print them

The strongest password would be a password which
