A Great Dane in the USA was rushed to the vets after being found vomiting and retching and an X-ray showed a large mass of "foreign material" inside his stomach. After a two-hour operation, a total of 43-and-a-half socks were removed from the dog's stomach. Luckily the greedy pooch made a full recovery.
