You receive an email with an attachment that says 'Winner', but you don't remember entering any competition.

What do you do?

• Reply to the message asking them to stop sending you emails.

• Open the attachment, you've won something!

• Delete the email without reading it.

• Forward the email to a friend, it will be funny to trick them

  too.

You are using the Internet to find some information for a homework project. You find some really useful stuff. What

should you do?

• Copy and paste it into your work. No one will know that

  you didn’t write it.

• Check a second website to see if the information is true.

• Don't bother doing the homework, this is too hard.

You come across a website by accident that makes you feel uncomfortable. What should you do?

• Panic because it is your fault!

• Close the browser window immediately and tell your parents.

• Tell a friend so they can look at the same page.

• Have a look around the website to se if you can find anything cool.

You are designing your own personal online space. What should you do?

• Cover it with photos of you then add your address and phone number so people who read your page can contact you.

• Just add general information about your hobbies and interests but don’t add any detailed information.

• Allow everyone to comment on your page.

• Just add pictures of you and your friends.

You are surfing the internet when you see a pops up, telling you that your computer is infected with a virus. What should you do?

• Ignore it. They’re likely to be selling something and wanting

  to pass your information onto others.

• Click on it straight away and download the program they

  recommend to solve the problem.

• Just click on the pop up to see what it’s all about.

• Panic, your computer is going to break.

You have met someone online and they ask you to meet them in real life. What should you do?

• Meet up because you’ve been chatting to them for ages and

  you’re sure you can trust them.

• Ask them to send you a photograph so you’ll recognise them when you meet up.

• Tell a responsible adult before deciding what to do.

• Take your best friend with you.
