Growth Mindset

A growth mindset is the belief that

• mistakes mean failure.

• skills can't be improved.

• your intelligence can't change.

• hard work can make you smarter.

Your brain is most like a

• muscle that grows with exercise.

• published book that always stays the same.

• tank of gas that gets used up and needs refilling.

• lawn that you need to mow when it gets too long.

What causes your brain to improve?

• simply making mistakes

• getting the correct answer

• making mistakes, and then analyzing them

• getting correct answers and not reviewing them

When you have a growth mindset,

• you automatically have strong neural connections.

• you push yourself and learn from mistakes.

• people always think that you're smart.

• you always do well on tests.

This is too hard
