When you hear the fire alarm go off, what's the very first thing you should do?

• Sit there and do nothing.

• Listen for instructions

• Jump up and run out the door.

• Start yelling.

Once your teacher gives you instructions, what should you do next?

• Follow those instructions exactly as they're given.

• Run out the door of the classroom.

• Grab all of your things.

• Don't move.

If you are in the Achieve room, where do you go when the fire alarm goes off and after you've been given directions?

• Stay in the classroom.

• The gym.

• Mrs. Damiani's classroom.

• Out the front door of the building and outside.

Once you get outside, where do you go?

• The football field.

• The middle of the parking lot.

• Our "island".

• The baseball field.

When we are waiting outside, what do you do?

• Wait calmly on the island until you are given further instructions.

• Walk around the parking lot.

• Walk home.

• Walk over to go talk to or say hi to your friends in other classes.

When the fire alarm goes off (for ANY reason), you should immediately start grabbing all of your things (such as water bottles, pencils, Chromebooks, jackets).

If you are outside during a fire drill (or real fire), and a firefighter or police officer tells you to move because where you are is not safe, what should you do?

• Do nothing.

• Follow your teacher's instructions on what to do next and where to move.

• Walk away from your class and go stand somewhere else.

• Tell the firefighter or police officer that you're not moving.

If the fire alarm goes off and it's raining, snowing, or really cold outside, what should you do?

• Follow your teacher's instructions and still safely exit the building.

• Stay inside the building-the weather is too bad to be standing outside!

• Grab your jacket or umbrella.

• Go find another place to stand outside where you won't be wet or cold.

When you are waiting outside during a fire drill (or real fire), when can you go back inside the school building?
