Presentation Tips

The first tip talks about volume. You should make sure:

• You speak loudly so you can be heard easily by the audience.

• You speak softly because you might have a microphone, anyway.

• You speak at a volume your audience feels comfortable with.

What does the second tip talk about?

• Body Language

• Pace

• The way you should dress

When talking about pace, it is recommended to

• talk fast since you won't have much time, anyway.

• talk at a slow pace since you will have all the time you want.

• talk at a normal pace and breathe in between sentences.

When it comes to expression, you should:

• always look happy and excited so they get excited about the topic and the presentation.

• always fake a smile even if you are not feeling happy but make sure the audience believes you

• don't fake anything. If you're bored, too bad.

As per the video, when it comes to body language:

• stand up straight

• fidget with your fingers

• sway from side to side

Keeping eye contact is important because:

• you can see where the nice girls are sitting

• you can keep them engaged in your presentation

• you can see who is paying attention and who is bored

A final tip would be to:

• make sure you know everyone's names

• check the equipment beforehand

• only practice your presentation on the same day of presenting

Presenting our Dragon's Den will go alright because:

• our friends are here to support us.

• we've practiced the presentation enough.

• we're actually quite good at speaking English (even if we don't believe it yet).
