Esah hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in over six months. She frequently wakes up during the night & sometimes rises before her alarm goes off & cannot get back to sleep.

No matter how much Dana sleeps she is always tired.  She frequently takes long naps after school &, on weekends, she sometimes sleeps for sixteen hours or more a night.

Ali often engages in violent behaviors while asleep. He punches, kicks & sometimes shouts. Upon waking he recalls dreams & describes them in great detail.

Azmi sometimes gets out of bed in the middle of the night & wanders throughout the house. Sometimes he returns to bed, remembering nothing. Other nights he wakes up & is disoriented & confused.

While asleep, Ijan sometimes sits up in bed & thrashes about wildly, screaming. During these episodes his heart races & he sweats profusely. Upon waking he doesn’t remember what has happened.

Johan has a tendency to suddenly fall asleep at inappropriate times, sometimes collapsing. Upon waking he frequently remembers dreaming.
