This act is also known as the NLRA. It helped settle disputes between employers and employees and protected the rights of workers to join unions and use collective bargining. Helped to establish a minimum wage law and maximum work week.

This program urged farmers to reduce the amount of crop production in the U.S by paying them not to plant all of their available crop lands. They paid farmers subsidies for doing this. This helped to increase the crop prices

A New Deal Agency established to eliminate " cut-throat competition" by bringing industry, labor and government together to create codes of  "fair practices" and set prices. (Hint: This Agency was an essential element to the NIRA program.)

This program employed over 8 million workers to help improve the cities and roads. they constructed 850 airports and 651,000 miles of roads. They also painted murals on the walls of schools
