Cell Range

• combines multiple lines into on cell
• A combination of numbers and symbols used to express a calculation
• to copy a cell’s contents and formatting into other cells
• a block of cells that can be selected (B4:B16)

Fill Handle

• The name of the cell is determined by the name of the row and the column intersecting, such as A8
• The rectangular shaped area on a worksheet that is created by the intersection of columns and rows
• the black symbol in the lower right corner of an active cell. Clicking & dragging it can copy cell contents or duplicate the cell contents
• adds the values in a function or set of cells (also, AutoSum)

Label

• The identifying name that reflects the information contained in a column or row in a worksheet, such as name or date.
• a cell in a database that contains information like Name, Address, Zip Code
• The name of the cell is determined by the name of the row and the column intersecting, such as A8
• Found on the outside of a product at the store

AutoSum

• adds the values in a function or set of cells
• provides the middle number of the range of numbers used
• A combination of numbers and symbols used to express a calculation.
• to copy a cell’s contents and formatting into other cells
