Classroom Procedures and Rules

Kyrie sets his binder down at his desk and then goes to use the restroom. The bell rings as he walks towards the classroom door. Is he tardy? Why?

• No,because he has previously entered the classroom.
• Yes, because he is not in his seat as the bell rings.
• No, because Ms. Gross can see him in the hallway so he is not tardy. 
• Yes, because he didn't ask Ms. Gross to use the restroom. 

Gabby brought her Chromebook to class but it is not charged. What is her consquence? 

• Nothing, she brought her Chromebook.
• She will recieve a D-Hall. 
• She will recieve a D-Sheet Signing. 
• Nothing, she will go check out another Chromebook. 

Kevin arrived a little early for class. He looks in the window and sees Ms. Gross at her desk working. He would like to go in. What is the prodecture? 

• He should knock on the door to get Ms. Gross' attention.
• He should get another teacher to open the door. 
• He should wait quitely against the wall. 
• He should try to open the door. 

Ashley enters the classroom and sits her in assigned seat. What is her next step?

• Follow Bellwork's instructions
• Ask Ms. Gross any homework questions
• Finish any homework that she didn't complete
• Socialize quitely 

Devon needs to use the restroom. How does he go about doing this?

• Ask Ms. Gross
• Use his power in Classcraft
• Leave the classroom and use it
• Use a bathroom pass

Ms. Gross says, "Wildcats, may I have your attention please?" What is your response?

• Finish your conversation and turn towards Ms. Gross
• Stop talking immedately, put your hand up, and look at Ms. Gross
• Put your hand up but you may continue talking

What happens if you don't follow the procedure for the attention signal?

• However long it takes the class to be quiet, that is how long we wait after the bell rings

When may you leave the classroom? 

• You may leave whenever the bell rings. 
• You may leave whenever you see students in the hallways. 
• You may leave whenever Ms. Gross dismisses you.  
• You may leave whenever Mr. Cagle announces that you may. 

Juan didn't turn in his work three days after it is due. When can he come redo it? 

• During one of the tutoring times

• He can't because it is a missing assignment
• Ms. Gross will give him another copy and he can work on it at home. 

Rachel's grade isn't where she wants it to be. What are her options?

• She may redo any of her assignments that are under a 70.
