TEXT 1 : HORROR EXPERIENCE

The Night the Shadows Moved

The old house stood on a hill overlooking the town. People said it was haunted, telling stories about a family that disappeared, strange noises at night, and a bad feeling around the place. I didn't believe it, so I convinced my friends, Sarah and Mark, to spend a night in the house to prove the stories wrong. I really regret that now.

We got there when it was getting dark. The air felt heavy and quiet, which made my heart beat faster. The house looked old and broken down, like it was watching us. We had flashlights and a device to detect ghost activity. We opened the front door and went inside.

The inside was old and falling apart. Dust was everywhere, and the furniture was covered in cobwebs. The pictures on the walls looked creepy. It was cold, and the air smelled like mold and something like old blood. We walked around, looking at each room. The ghost detector went crazy in the big ballroom. Sarah thought she saw something move, but Mark didn't believe her. As we walked, strange things started to happen.

First, it got really cold all of a sudden. We could see our breath, and I felt something on the back of my neck. Then, we heard a faint whispering sound. We couldn't understand what it said, but it was there. We stayed close together because we were starting to get scared.

TEXT 1 : HORROR EXPERIENCE

The Night the Shadows Moved

The worst thing happened in the master bedroom. I looked in a dusty mirror, and I saw a strange figure standing behind me in the reflection. It was thin and pale with black eyes. I turned around, but there was nothing there. I got scared and bumped into a table. Suddenly, the shadows in the room got darker. They moved and twisted into scary shapes on the walls. The air felt like it had electricity in it, and it got even colder. The whispering got louder and turned into voices saying things we couldn't understand.

Sarah screamed when a shadow touched her face. Mark was really scared, too. We knew we had to leave. We ran out of the room and through the hallways. The shadows chased us and started to look more real. We could hear them breathing and feel them getting closer. The house seemed to be trying to keep us inside. The hallways twisted around, and the doors closed by themselves.

We finally got out of the front door and ran away. We didn't stop until we were back in town. The scary images of the shadows stayed in our minds. We never talked about what happened that night. But I can still remember the cold air, the whispers, and the moving shadows. I learned that some things are better left alone. The house is still there on the hill, waiting for the next people to go inside. I will never go near it again.

TEXT 2 : FUNNY EXPERIENCE

Sarah's Surprise Haircut

It was a normal Saturday. My friend, Sarah, wanted to cut her own hair. She usually knows what she's doing, so I didn't worry. She has long, beautiful hair, like in TV commercials. I thought she would just trim it a little. I was wrong.

In the afternoon, I was reading a book when I heard Sarah scream in the bathroom. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yes! Fine!" she said, but she sounded strange. I went back to my book, but I felt something was wrong. A few minutes later, Sarah came out of the bathroom. Her hair looked terrible. It wasn't smooth anymore. It was messy, with different lengths and pieces sticking out. One side was shorter than the other. Her bangs were uneven. It was a mess.

"So," I said, trying not to laugh, "how's the haircut?" Sarah looked surprised and said, "Oh no! I tried to do it myself. I watched videos online!" She told me she made a mistake with the scissors and then tried to fix it, but it got worse.

We looked for a hair salon to help, but they were all busy. Sarah called her usual hair stylist, but she couldn't help for weeks. Sarah was upset. Then, we decided I would try to fix it. I don't know anything about cutting hair. I got scissors from the kitchen and looked for advice online. Carefully, I started to cut her hair to make it even. It didn't look great. We had to cut a lot of her hair to make it look okay. Her long hair was now short, a little uneven, but better than before.

The funny thing was her reaction. After being shocked, she started to laugh. She laughed a lot and said, "I look silly! I look like someone from a bad pop group!" She did look funny. But we both started laughing. The bad haircut became a funny memory. It showed that even when things go wrong, you can laugh about it with friends. Later, Sarah went to a hair stylist to fix her hair. But we still tell the story about her surprise haircut. It reminds us that sometimes life is funny, even when you don't plan it. And Sarah now goes to a hair stylist to get her hair cut. The kitchen scissors are only for cooking now.

TEXT 3 : ADVENTERUOUS EXPERIENCE

The Great Hiking Adventure

Last summer, I went on an adventure I will never forget. My friends and I decided to hike at Green Mountain National Park, known for its beautiful views and hidden waterfalls. Excited for the challenge, we packed our bags with snacks, water, and everything we needed for the day.

We started early in the morning when the sun was just rising. The fresh air smelled of pine trees and flowers as we walked along a narrow trail surrounded by tall trees. After about an hour, we reached a fork in the trail. One path led to a famous viewpoint, while the other went deeper into the forest toward a hidden waterfall. We chose the path to find the waterfall.

As we hiked deeper into the woods, we heard birds singing and leaves rustling. Soon, we could hear water flowing in the distance. The trail became steeper, but we encouraged each other and shared funny stories to keep our spirits up.

Finally, we heard the sound of rushing water and pushed through some bushes to find a stunning waterfall! Water poured into a clear pool below, sparkling in the sunlight. We were thrilled! We dropped our bags and ran toward the water, splashing around and taking pictures.

After playing by the waterfall, we sat on rocks to eat lunch, enjoying our sandwiches while taking in the view. Everything felt perfect until we realized it was getting late! The sun was setting, and we needed to head back before it got dark.

The way back felt longer as we hurried along the trail. The fading light made it hard to see where we were going, but we kept encouraging each other. Finally, just as it got dark, we made it back to our starting point. We were tired but proud of our adventure. That hike taught me that taking risks can lead to amazing experiences. Finding that hidden waterfall with my friends was one of my best memories.
