A subject pronoun (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) replaces the subject of a sentence. e.g.

1. Mary lives in Boston.

--> She lives in Boston.

2.Boston is a beautiful city.

--> It is a beautiful city.

An object pronoun (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) replaces the grammatical object of a sentence, either as the direct or indirect object of a verb, or as the object of a preposition.

1.I will visit my mom next week.

--> I will visit her next week.

2.I sent an email to Mary.

-->I sent an email to her.

3.I give my sister a present.

--> I give her a present.
