Objective: We Will Expand Upon The Second Law of

Thermodynamics Through Entropy Related

Demonstrations. We also will be briefed on

additional laws of thermodynamics.

​RECAP

Second Law of Thermodynamics states that systems naturally move

towards increased entropy, so thermal energy moves from hotter to colder temperatures. ​
EXTERNAL ENERGY IS NEEDED TO DECREASE ENTROPY.​

Entropy is a measurement of disorder or randomness

The entropy of a system is at it's lowest possible level at absolute zero.

​The Third Law

If two systems are in thermal equilibrium with a third system, then they all are in thermal equilibrium with each other
