​A proper noun is a specific person place or thing.

All of these must be capitalized​

​Proper Noun Examples: People

Person: Ms. Shelly, Harry, Stacy

These are specific names so they need to be capitalized.

If it is a non-specific person, do not capitalize:girl, boy, sister
