Present simple

We use the present simple for something scheduled.

Algo que va a pasar en un momento predeterminado. Por ejemplo, el horario de un tren, de una clase o de un cine.

• We have a lesson next Monday.

• The train arrives at 6.30 in the morning.

Present continuous

We can use the present continuous for plans or arrangements.

Puedes usar el present progressive (presente progresivo) para hablar de planes formales para el futuro.

• I'm playing football tomorrow.

• They are coming to see us tomorrow.

Will

We can use will to express beliefs about the future, predictions, spontaneous decisions, and to offer help.
Normalmente se usa cuando estás haciendo predicciones sobre el futuro, También se usa cuando se toma una decisión en el momento de hablar y para ofrecer ayuda.

• I hope you will come to my party.

• George says he will help us.

Be going to

We use be going to to talk about plans or intentions.

Se usa para hablar de planes para el futuro. También se usa para hablar de predicciones sobre el futuro si están basados en evidencia existente.

• I'm going to drive to work today.

• Look at those black clouds. I think it's going to rain. (= I can see that it will rain.)
