Rubric Norming
Use the rubric on the board and on your laptop to grade
the paragraphs in the colored square.
What did it earn? Why did it earn that score?
This earned a _____ because _____
Influencers are people too and they need
respect. They work really hard at their job. They
work hard because it is not easy to make
content. In this essay I will talk about how hard
they work.
Some people say influencers don’t have a real
job, but that’s not true. Influencing is a job
because it is hard work.

the paragraphs in the colored square.
What did it earn? Why did it earn that score?
This earned a _____ because _____
Influencers work hard because they put a lot of
time and effort into their content. According to
InFlue4lyfers.net, people spend 45% of their
freetime online. This supports my claim because
if a lot of people spend their time online then
that means creators have to put in effort to
keep them engaged.

In conclusion, influencers deserve the respect
any other working professional has. Influencers
work well over the standard forty-hour week,
they have to curate professional relationships
with brands, and curating online content people
want to watch is a skill. It takes someone with
dedication, grit, and passion to truly call
themselves an influencer. If being a successful
influencer was easy then everyone would do it.

My 2nd claim is that influencers always wrk hard for there
content. In an academic article written by a student they say
“Due to the amount of work that it takes to hide persuasive
tactics and sell the products of their sponsors, successful
influencers cannot be lazy. Not only do they have to hide their
persuasiveness in content that is not cliche, but they also have
to compete with other influencers who could have a stronger,
more loyal fan base. An example of this is how influencers will
have advertisements embedded into their selfies because
“certain products and services require more work on the part of
the influencer.”
