Let's do this!

​A complex sentence is one or more independent clause joined by one or more dependent clauses.

​

• ​a dependent clause has a subject and a verb, BUT it does not make sense on its own.  WHY?? → AWUBIS!

• ​If a subordinating conjunction (AWUBIS) begins the dependent clauses, the clause must be followed by a comma.
