irregular- there are some words that are plural but you do not add s or es to make them plural

9

Irregular Plural

Irregular (not regular) words don't follow the normal rule of adding an "s" or "es" to make them plural: they change completely.

regular= boy/boys fox/foxes church/churches

irregular= mouse/mice goose/geese child/children man/men

notice how irregular does NOT use s/es when it is plural
