The first step to ordering fractions is to compare them all to 1/2. (LEG)

After comparing them to 1/2, order the ones you can. If two fractions are less than or greater than 1/2 then you have to compare those two fractions to determine the exact order. This is when we would use the butterfly method or find a common denominator. See the videos below for both strategies.
