Lunar New Year is in January
or February to celebrate the
end of winter and welcome
the new things that will
come in spring.

The lunar new year starts
with the new moon and
people celebrate for 15 days
until the full moon.

Many East Asian countries like China, South Korea, Vietnam and more
celebrate Lunar New Year.

This holiday is also celebrated all around the world!

The decorations are red and
gold. The red color means good
luck. The gold color means
wealth and good fortune.
