What is Regrouping?
In math, regrouping is making groups of tens when adding or subtracting two-digit numbers or larger numbers.

1. First place the numbers according to the place value starting from ones place.
2. Arrange the two 3-digit addends in order and add the numbers vertically.
3. Add the numbers in the ones place if the result is more than 10,
carry the tens place value to the next place value.
4. Add the numbers in the tens place and also add the carried value and write the result.
5. If the result is greater than 10 carry the digit to hundreds place value.
6. Add the numbers in the hundreds place and also add the carried value and write the result. This number is the sum.
