​Solar Eclipse

​A solar eclipse occurs when the moon comes between the sun and the earth.

​Total Solar Eclipse - It happens when the moon completely covers the sun.

​Partial Solar Eclipse - It happens when the moon partially covers the sun.

• ​You must never look directly at the sun, even when there is an eclipse.

• The light from the sun is very bright and can cause permanent damage to your eyes.

​A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the sun and the moon.
