Sloths

  • Sloths live in the tropical of Central and South America. They look like monkeys with their long arms and shaggy fur. Sloths can be from 0.6 to 0.8 metres long and weigh from 3.6 to 7.7 kilograms.

  • They enjoy spending their time on trees because their long claws, which about 8 to 10 centimetres make it difficult for them to walk on the ground. Sloths can sleep for 20 hours a day, so they enjoy being by themselves.
