Figures look idealized, perfect
Scenes show everyday life or myths
No real background or sense of perspective

Medieval Art
Most art is religious (Christian)
Figures are flat and stiff with no real movement
Important figures can be larger

During the Renaissance, Classical art styles were "reborn."
But they weren't always exactly copied.
Renaissance art cares more about emotion, nature and backgrounds than most Classical art.
Classical art was also never Christian (Christianity either didn't exist or was very new)
